The current Interim NSW form for conscientious objectors may be used only until 31 December 2016 for enrolling children in ECEC services. This applies to children enrolling in 2016, even if they do not commence in care until 2017.
A revised Interim NSW Form will replace the current form at the same website link immediately before 1 January 2017 for use in 2017. These interim arrangements will be in place until the Review of the Act has been completed and any associated changes made.

The Australian Education Regulation 2013 has been amended to remove the requirement for schools to have a school improvement framework and plan by 1 January 2017. While the Act remains unchanged, the new Regulations mean that these requirements no longer apply.
